Service Description
The 2025 Second Annual Kwanzaa Heritage Tour, presented in partnership with Chi-Village, invites you to celebrate culture, community, and tradition in the historic South Shore neighborhood—home to one of Chicago’s first Kwanzaa celebrations. This year, we’ll explore the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa as we visit landmark sites, connect with local businesses, and honor the legacy of Black joy, creativity, and resilience. Enjoy a live performance by the Betty Shabazz dancers, taste treats from South Shore’s longest-running bakery, and support neighborhood entrepreneurs along the way. Most importantly—experience the power of UMOJA (Unity) and leave with a deeper appreciation for South Shore, its history, and the beauty of the Kwanzaa harvest season.

Cancellation Policy
Tickets may be cancelled and refunded up to 24 hours prior to the start of the tour. If you can’t make the tour, you can transfer the tickets to someone else by calling (773) 300-6346 to complete the arrangement. Please note that the ticket must still be used on the scheduled date and time as originally purchased.
