🏛 The South Side Obama Tour
$55 per person, 2 hours
Step into the neighborhoods that shaped the early lives of Michelle and Barack Obama.
This tour traces Michelle LaVaughn Robinson’s coming-of-age in South Shore as a proud “girl of the South Side,” her early career, and her relationship with a young Barack “Barry” Obama during their formative years in Hyde Park and Kenwood.
Guests will explore the places and people that influenced the couple’s values and enduring commitment to public service.

South Side Food Tour: The Classics
is a flavor-packed journey through seven incredible restaurants that reflect the diverse ethnicities and cultural heritage that make up Chicago’s South Side.
Guests will travel comfortably by bus while experiencing a range of iconic dishes that represent the neighborhood’s global influences and local traditions.
Along the way, guests will have the opportunity to meet each restaurant owner up close and personal, gaining insight into the stories behind their businesses and the communities they serve, through our onboard oral history programming!
The tour also features interactive trivia and Chicago history, making it a fun, immersive experience that blends food and culture.Both tours are now open for booking.
