Did you catch us on WGN’s Spotlight last week?! We were so excited to be featured in Mama Fresh’s incredible roundup of Black History Month family events:

That message is at the heart of everything we do. We’re honored to share Black history with our community through our interactive South Side tours, where learning truly comes alive—and yes… we do love a good pop quiz 😉.

We’ve also been busy out in the neighborhoods! Recently, we partnered with Sunshine Enterprises and the Cook County Land Bank Authority for the Diverse Developers Tour. Together, we explored commercial and residential properties of several south side and far south side neighborhoods while digging into the historical context of redlining and oppressive housing practices that altered the development and racial makeup of these neighborhoods over time.

This Saturday is the FINAL day of Black History Month, and we’re closing it out with our South Side Brewery Adventure in partnership with Black and Brew Chicago.
